The origins of the Counseling Service of the Episcopal Diocese of Albany date back to 1923. It has evolved into a Family Service Agency that offers comprehensive clinical outpatient services, referral and consultation, seminars and workshops. The Counseling Service employs CERTIFIED SOCIAL WORKERS who are experienced clinical psychotherapists. The staff will address religious concerns, as well as offer support services if requested by clients. Episcopal clergy are available to offer Pastoral Care and Counseling. Located in Albany, the newly renovated offices at 116 South Lake Avenue, offer plenty of parking and full handicapped access.
