Building A Comprehensive Vision of Care
Representatives of the Clergy and Counseling Service (ECS) gathered March 9th at Christ the King SLC to explore the possibility of building clergy pastoral teams to help support the clinical work of ECS church-based satellites.
ECS’s goal is to create clergy teams that would provide pastoral care and Spiritual direction for ECS clients at all ECS church-based satellite offices.
Inspired by Bishop Love’s vision of accessible and comprehensive faith-based healing, ECS Director, Peter Minucci said, “Bringing together the pastoral skills of clergy and clinical skills of ECS staff would be an important step in adding to the comprehensive Diocesan-wide ministry of Christian soul-care.”
