Dear Brothers and Sisters,

This weekend the Cursillo Community sponsored a leadership gathering at Christ the King SLC with guest speakers from three other dioceses. About 40 Albany leaders. Honored to lead the concelebrated Eucharist this morning with a group of committed and able men and women. During the Mass, inducted Ray Farrara as the new Lay Director of the Cursillo Community. He succeeds John Clow who has done an outstanding job in this ministry.

Today, Monday, leave for network meeting in Texas. Also attending; Bishop Dave as well as Fr Shaw Mudge and Canon George Marshall (top vote getters in the clerical and lay order for GC deputy). Ends on Wednesday night.

The Harvest Is Ready - Convention 2005 brochures are being mailed this week. With the advent of online, over 400 reservations were already made by the end of last week.

65 Workshops: Sue Ellen has lines up a broad range of practical workshops, designed to help the local parish in its life and work. The upcoming issue of the Albany Episcopalian will have a complete listing also.

April 29 - May 1 is the Clergy Wives Conference, to be led by Mrs. Liz Miller of the Diocese of Down and Dromore.

May 5 is Ascension Day, a Prayer Book Holy Day and Principal Feast. The ordinands' retreat begins May 27.

The dedication of the Healing Center at Christ the King SLC is Sunday afternoon, May 22, at 4pm. The dedication of Saint Mary's Convent at the SLC is Sunday, August 14.
