Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

Many parishes have registered for one of the Crown Ministries Introductions. Many have not yet registered. If you have not, I encourage you to go to the Diocesan website, click on “See all Events” in the bottom right hand corner, scroll down to the date of the Introduction you want to go to, and click on “Register”.

We would like every parish to send a group to one of these introductions. Optimally, this would be the rector, both wardens, and the people you have in mind to teach the course in your parish. Additional members of the parish, especially vestry members, are welcome. But please register them so the host parish knows how to set up the room and how much to have on hand for refreshments.

The dates and locations for the Introductions are: Sept 10, Potsdam; Sept 11, Unadilla; Sept 12, Johnstown; Oct 1, Elizabethtown; Oct 2, Coxsackie; and Oct 3, the Cathedral of All Saints’, Albany. “Coffee will be served beginning at 6:30 pm. The Introduction will go from 7 pm to 9 pm. John Harper, the Northeast regional director of Crown Ministries, is the presenter’

Teaching Crown Ministries to your people will show them how to get out of debt, manage their finances, and support their church. I hope you will all participate.”
