Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

The Rev. Canon William A. Hio, retired priest of the Diocese, died today in Schenectady. He is survived by his wife, Akemi. Funeral arrangements are pending.

Rest eternal grant unto him, O Lord; let light perpetual shine upon him.

Almighty God, Father of all mercies and giver of comfort: Deal graciously, we pray, with all who mourn; that, casting all their care on you, they may know the consolation of your love; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen (BCP pg 505)

Fr Nigel remains in the Intensive Care Unit at Saratoga Springs Hospital. Your continued prayers for him, Lynn, and Meagan are appreciated. He is unable to receive cards at this time.
