Diocesan Update Addendum – Parish Lessons & Carols Services #1

St. Lawrence Deanery
Zion, Colton will offer a Lessons and Carols Service on Sunday, December 20th at 4 pm.

Metropolitan Deanery
The Cathedral Of All Saints. Special Advent Music performed by The Cathedral Choir of Men and Boys. Woodrow Bynum, Music Director.

The First Sunday of Advent, November 29
2:30 PM - Organ Recital played by Robert Richter, Lloyd Cast Organ Fellow.
3:00 PM - Advent Procession featuring works by Palestrina, Scott, Ravenscroft, Cleobury, Poston, Howells, Manz, Carter and Webster

The Fourth Sunday of Advent, December 20
2:30 PM - Music for Brass and Organ
3:00 PM - Christmas Lessons and featuring works by Britten, Ord, Ledger, Rutter, Lauridsen, Tavener, Olatunji, Woodward, and Bassi

Admission is free and open to the public. A free will offering will be received, and a festive reception sponsored by The Friends of the Choir, Inc., will follow the service in the undercroft of the Cathedral.

Due to the popularity of the event early arrival is encouraged. The Cathedral is handicapped accessible.
