(Special Prayer Request)
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Please hold Fr. Derik Roy, his wife Cathy and their family up in your prayers. Early this morning (Wednesday), Fr. Derik began experiencing chest pain. Upon arriving at the hospital, it was discovered that he had blockages (of various degrees) in some of his arteries. Three stints were successfully implanted opening up the blockages. It is unknown at this point if he actually experienced a heart attack and if so, if there was any damage done to the heart. He is in ICU where he is resting quietly. At this time, the doctors are only allowing immediate family to visit him, so please refrain from trying to visit. Fr. Derik and Cathy welcome and greatly appreciate your prayers and cards / letters.
