Diocesan Update - February 3, 2010

Your prayers are invited for Deacon Charlie Bailey who was hospitalized on Wednesday and kept for observation. Please keep his wife, Dcn Polly Bailey, in your prayers as well.

 Priscilla Brock, the mother of Fr. Brock Baker, Rector of St. Eustace Church in Lake Placid died in Cambridge. Massachusetts, on Monday, January 25. Her funeral will be in Princeton, New Jersey on Saturday, January 30.
Rest eternal grant unto her, O Lord; let light perpetual shine upon her.

 The Rev. John L. Scott, Jr., the father of Fr. John L. Scott, III, Rector of Calvary Church in Burnt Hills, died in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, on Tuesday, January 26.  A Mass of Christian burial will be held this Saturday, January 30, at St. Benedict’s Church in Plantation, Florida. A memorial service will be held at Calvary Church, Burnt Hills, at a later date.

 Mary Baker, sister of Fr. Mike Neufeld, Rector, St. Andrew’s Church in Scotia died in San Diego, California this morning. Funeral arrangements are incomplete at this time.
