Diocesan Update - August 6, 2010
The Reverend Don Gardner, retired priest of the Diocese, and most recently an assistant at St. George’s, Clifton Park, died this morning at the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington, Vermont. Funeral arrangements are pending.
Rest eternal grant unto them, O Lord; let light perpetual shine upon them.

The Diocese Holy Hour and Benediction of the Blessed Sacrament will take place on Thursday, August 12 at 10:30 am in St. Mary's Chapel at the CSM Convent in Greenwich. Lunch is available ($8.50+tax) in the Trinity Dining Room of the SLC following the Holy Hour.
The North Country School of Healing Prayer will be held Oct 17 – 20 at St. Thomas' Church in Tupper Lake. Class begins at 3 PM on Sunday and ends at 3 PM on Wednesday. Registration deadline is September 15. There is a $75 registration fee which will be applied to the total fee.

Please continue to keep Leia, daughter of Deacons Charlie and Polly Bailey in your prayers. She is quite ill and still hospitalized. Please keep the doctors, nurses, and all the health care professionals involved in her treatment. Please keep Deacon Charlie and Deacon Polly in your prayers as well.
Thank you for your prayers for Margaret Willis, mother of Mother Miriam, CSM. The doctor has reported that although Margaret's condition is serious, it is treatable and not the more serious condition that was first suspected. Please continue to pray for healing for Margaret.
